The Township of Nipigon is committed to promoting a positive culture and want all our residents to feel safe, supported and accepted.

Raising the Progress Pride flag is one way to demonstrate our commitment.

We as a municipality know that discrimination exists and we also know that it isn't right - equality and inclusion must be the reality for everyone, including the 2SLGBTQIA+ people matter.

The Pride flag was created in 1978 by Gilbert Baker and has become an international symbol of diversity and strength.  The Township of Nipigon is proud to support the 2SLGBTQIA+ people matter by raising the Progress Pride flag for the month of June.
