The Nipigon area has so many freshwater lakes to explore and enjoy. Lofquist Lake is located just a few kilometres from town on Highway 585. A favourite spot for locals on a hot summer’s day, our municipally run public beach at Lofquist Lake is equipped with public washrooms, change rooms, play structures, a sandy beach, and a swimming dock. It's also a great spot to canoe, kayak and fish. Whether you are stopping by for a quick dip or bringing the family for a picnic, we hope you love it as much as we do.
