The Quebec Lodge is located approximately 110 km east of Thunder Bay, and 5 km off of the Trans Canada highway, near the town of Red Rock, overlooking Lake Superior.
We are located in the middle of the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area. The LSNMCA is the largest freshwater protected area in the world, spanning over 10,000 square km in size. It is home to over 50 shipwrecks, 70 species of fish and countless islands and bays.
The Lodge offers comfortable and unique accommodations. Built in 1937 as a retreat for the Executives and customers of the local paper mill, The Lodge is a 4,000 square foot log “cabin” which boasts a central living room – the perfect venue for sharing the tales of a an adventurous day.
Flanked on one side by guest rooms, on the other side is the dining room where wafting smells of a sumptuous breakfast will wake you in the morning or the long gathering table is a place to gather for a wonderful dinner and share the tales of the day.
Guiding services at the Lodge are provided by Gord Ellis Guiding, www.gordellis.com
